About our Public Meetings

Meet our members and friends

Our public meetings are no-cost events that provide a platform for expert presenters to share their knowledge and insights on various astronomical topics.

From the latest discoveries in space exploration to the fascinating science behind celestial phenomena, our meetings offer a wealth of information that will ignite your curiosity and expand your understanding of the universe.

Our meetings provide a great opportunity for you - whether novice or experienced - to mingle with and learn from our members and guest speakers. Meetings are held in the auditorium at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum (CASM), usually on the first Friday each month, in person as as Zoom webinars.

Video recordings have been archived (almost regularly!) since 1996 and provide great historical context for RASC Ottawa as it thrives today. Click on the carousel or the buttom at the bottom.
