Presentations given at RASC Ottawa’s monthly meetings cover the whole spectrum of knowledge, competence and experience in astronomy and its purpose in society. Invited speakers and Ottawa members discuss topics ranging across academic and scientific research, experiences in constructing and operating instruments whether here on Earth, the Moon, Mars or on satellite platforms. There are tips and guidance for undertaking your own observations whether as a beginner or as a seasoned veteran. One regular presentation is our Monthly Observation reports where members showcase their own images. sketches and relate useful guidance for others.
