Our public meetings are no-cost events that provide a platform for expert presenters to share their knowledge and insights on a huge range of astronomical topics.

Our meetings cover everything from the latest space discoveries to the science behind what you see in the night sky. Come curious — you’ll leave knowing more.

Our meetings provide a great opportunity for you – whether novice or experienced – to mingle with and learn from our members and guest speakers.

Meetings are held in the auditorium at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum (CASM), usually on the first Friday each month, in person as as Zoom webinars.

Video recordings have been archived (almost regularly!) since 1996 and provide great historical context for RASC Ottawa as it thrives today.
