RASC Ottawa Awards
At each Annual Dinner Meeting, members of RASC Ottawa are presented with awards recognizing outstanding contributions to RASC’s mission of enhancing understanding of and inspiring curiosity about the Universe, through public outreach, education, and support for astronomical research.
Members may be recognized for their efforts to promote:
- Sharing of knowledge and experience
- Collaboration and fellowship
- Enrichment of our community through diversity
- Discovery through the scientific method
RASC National have their own award system which recognizes work Canada-wide. RASC Ottawa’s awards reflect this structure but with a local flavour. Our awards are:
