The main reason we exist as a group is to share our enthusiasm and knowledge with each other. This newsletter continues to be one of the ways we do so.

It is intended for all our members to help ensure that all members are aware of who we are, what we do, to facilitate participation, and to make everybody welcome. There are occasional member bios, tales of adventurous travel, technical pieces on tricks and traps, limericks, and recipes. With over 50 years of near-continuous publishing, AstroNotes records an invaluable cross-section of the RASC Ottawa’s evolution and its members’  development.

We all benefit by letting each other know what we’re up to as individuals and as a group, what activities and events are being planned and how to join in, and by reporting on what happened the previous month.
