This Canada Day, bring the family to the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum for free and safe views of the Sun. 2025 continues a stonker solar maximum, now at its most active with lots of sunspots to be seen.
Members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Ottawa will provide daytime views of the Sun, Moon and possibly Jupiter through their own telescopes, provided the skies are clear.
And if the weather is dodgy (this is Ottawa!) then we’ll have displays and smart people indoors at the museum building
No cost (other than for parking) and no booking needed.
