RASC Ottawa Annual Dinner Meeting and Celebration 2026

This meal is a great gathering of friends and a celebration of the various award winners including Observer of the Year, the President’s Awards, Presentation of the Year awards and many others. These Annual Awards recognize exemplary service to forwarding RASC’s mission of getting people engaged in  astronomy.

Date Friday November 14th, 2025

Dinner tickets $65/person $50/child under 18.

Algonquin College on Woodroofe.

6:00 pm arrival for 7:00 pm dinner.

Dress is smart business casual.

Partners and children welcome.

Our guest speaker will be Malcolm Park of RASC Kingston presenting on his Astronomical Journey though the Delights of the Southern Skies.

The price includes a delicious roast beef meal with vegetarian options, salads, desert, coffee and tea. A cash bar is available. Please drink responsibly.

We have two ( so far) great sponsors Astronomy Plus out of Montreal and Telescopes Canada out of Toronto and great door prizes. Please consider purchasing  from them if you need astronomical gear in the future.

You will need to pay for parking at Algonquin College; they have ruthless parking surveillance.
